Main Functions: Used for heating billets of non-ferrous metals (Ti, Zr, Ta, Nb, Hf, etc.) and ferrous metals during the second rolling process, as well as for heat treatment of finished sheets. The equipment includes one heating furnace, two furnace doors, one set of rollers in front of the furnace, one sheet rotation mechanism, one feeding roller, and one set of auxiliary equipment. Temperature control and process management are handled by PLCs, with monitoring via a human-machine interface.
Economic Parameters: Power consumption: approximately 300 kwh per ton.
Project Highlights: This is the first bottom-roller furnace in China designed for use with short-pitch billets (small-sized billets). Its operating temperature reaches 1,200°C. The furnace rollers are not water-cooled, resulting in a long service life for the equipment.
